Man threatening to jump from Fresno overpass ends peacefully

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — UPDATE: The man gave up and was placed in an ambulance to be taken to the hospital.

Northbound Highway 41 traffic has been stopped at the Tulare Avenue overpass due to a man outside the safety fence.

Fresno police, firefighters and CHP are on the scene.

Northbound traffic is being diverted at Van Ness Avenue.
