The man accused of the murder of a 22-year-old CSULB student was arraigned on Tuesday, Oct. 21, pleading not guilty.
Alejandro Iniestra, 34, faces charges of murder under Penal Code 187 for the off-campus stabbing and killing of industrial design student Spencer Timms and attempted murder under Penal Code 664 for the stabbing of another 24-year-old man.
Iniestra appeared at the Governor George Deukmejian Courthouse on Tuesday afternoon in a blue jumpsuit. The arraignment lasted about three minutes.Â
Iniestra is being held with a bail of $3.02 million at the North County Correctional Facility in Castaic.Â
His next preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 8.
