BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) – On Thursday, the Tomorrow’s 25 Coaching Fellowship, in partnership with the Mississippi Association of Coaches (MAC) and the Mississippi High School Athletics Association (MHSAA) formally announced the newest class of 25 coaches who have been selected to participate in Mississippi’s signature program for athletic leadership.
The Tomorrow’s 25 Coaching Fellowship is a 10-month program designed to invest in 25 coaches from across the state who have been deemed emerging leaders in high school and middle school athletics.
“This program is one of my favorite things about coaches and teams,” said Johnny Mims, director of MAC. “If you’re around this group for 30 minutes, you’re inspired and want more kids to have coaches like them in their lives.”

Over the course of 10 months, Tomorrow’s 25 Coaches will convene for seven in-person sessions and three virtual sessions. Each session of the coaching fellowship is designed to support growth in three key areas: impact on student-athletes, peer network development, and access to state and national leaders.
“I’m incredibly proud of the collective effort behind building a program that’s already influencing coaches and communities across Mississippi,” said Dr. Hunter Taylor, an award-winning professor and author from Ole Miss and founder of the Tomorrow’s 25 Coaching Fellowship. “At the same time, we believe this work is just beginning, and the long-term potential for impact across our state is significant.”
