An investigation into a deadly shooting in La Habra that took place in November has led to the arrest of a teenager, police announced.

According to the La Habra Police Department, gunfire erupted at El Centro Park, located at 321 East Erna Avenue, around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2025.

When officers arrived at the park, they located a 20-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Video from the scene obtained by KTLA showed a white sheet covering a body on a basketball court in the park as bullet casings lay nearby.

Authorities probed the fatal incident for months, and in a statement released Friday, they announced that 19-year-old Isaac Gomez had been arrested and charged with murder with gang enhancement in connection with the deadly incident.

Gomez, a resident of La Habra, was booked into the Orange County Jail for one count of murder, police confirmed, adding that his bail was set at $1 million.
