SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A 68-year-old man has been arrested after stabbing someone on Thursday in San Francisco’s Mission District, police said.
Police say two men were arguing on a bus Thursday evening. They eventually got off the bus, but continued arguing and fighting, according to a daily crime summary from the San Francisco Police Department.
At some point, one of the men stabbed the other, police said. Officers found a man who’d been stabbed multiple times around 6:36 p.m. in the 2600 block of Mission Street.
He was taken to a local hospital, according to the San Francisco Police Department, which said the wounds the man sustained in the stabbing were not considered life-threatening.
Nearby, officers arrested Silas Patino, a San Francisco resident, in connection with the stabbing, police said. They also seized a “sharp-edged weapon” from Patino during the arrest, police said.
Police did not say what charges, if any, Patino is expected to face.
