FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno Chaffee Zoo wrapped up IllumiNATURE with a bang and celebrated its final night with a special Lunar New Year event.
Families packed the zoo to enjoy this new IllumiNature experience, featuring food trucks, craft corners, and live performances.
One of the highlights of the night was a performance by the Long Fist Kung Fu Association, bringing excitement and tradition to the celebration.
Gia Krupens, the communications coordinator, said, “So there’s a ton of different ways for families to explore that tradition. Even if it’s not one that you typically celebrate you can still come out and have a great time.”
Guests also welcomed the Chinese zodiac year of the horse while enjoying Asian cuisine from Fresno Street Eats.
A festive way to end IllumiNATURE, full of culture, food, and fun.
