Drake had some bad luck on Sunday after betting on the New England Patriots for Super Bowl LX.

The rapper shared his official bet on Instagram, with the caption, “Bet Against me if you dare.”

Had the Patriots won, Drake would have stood to gain an estimated $2,950,000.

But, as we all saw, the Seattle Seahawks dominated the game with a 29-13 win.

Some fans have referred to the loss as part of the ongoing “Drake’s Curse.” Apparently, whoever the “God’s Plan” singer picks in a game loses.

Someone in the comments wrote, “Drake, you my guy, but holy you’re cursed when it comes to betting on sports. I know every single time to take the opposite of whoever you think is going to win, that’s how bad it is.”

Drake’s track record is admittedly not great.

He lost a $60,000 bet on the NBA Finals in 2016 to French Montana and backed the losing Toronto Maple Leafs in 2025, per FTW. He also bet $1 million on the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2025 Super Bowl, but they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, according to The Star.

Despite the losing streak, Drake seems to take it in stride (might help that he’s a multi-millionaire).

He told House Money Presented by Stake last year, “The Drake Curse is funny to me, honestly. First of all, the Raptors won a championship, so nobody could ever talk to me about the Drake Curse,” referring to the team’s win in 2019.

“The Toronto Raptors are NBA Champions. If there was a Drake Curse, Kawhi [Leonard] would’ve never hit that shot, we would’ve never beat the Warriors. There is no Drake curse, but it’s funny, though,” he added.

The “Hotline Bling” singer did admit to being a “flawed sports bettor.”

“I’m sure if you’re a Drake curse believer, there will be plenty more content in the future to confirm your theories because, for whatever reason, my slips do not cash out,” he said.
