(FOX40.COM) — A Sacramento Mega Millions player came up just short of a major win, missing out on a $346 million jackpot.
A ticket matching four numbers and the Mega Ball was sold Friday night at Fastrip, located at 8601 Florin Rd. in Sacramento.
The winning numbers were 13, 21, 25, 52, 62 and 19. Even though the player missed the big prize by one number, their ticket had a 2X multiplier and is worth $67,542, California Lottery officials said.
The next estimated prize is $366 million.
Another Californian also barely missed out on winning the Powerball this weekend, too.
A Powerball ticket matching four numbers and the Powerball was sold at La Hacienda Market on Main Street in Fillmore, lottery officials said.
Even though they missed out on the Powerball, they still went home with $56,279.
