Half-off museum month: Half-off admission at participating San Diego County and Tijuana museums is back. Throughout February, locals can visit over 70 museums at a discounted rate. The public can receive their 50% admission discounts by picking up free printed museum passes at about 80 public libraries throughout the county. Seniors visit for free: Guests 65 years and older are getting complimentary entrance to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park every day in February for its Senior Free Month promotion. To enter for free, seniors must present a valid photo identification with their date of birth at the park’s main gate. The Safari Park offers 1,800-acres where more than 3,000 mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians and arthropods roam the land, including habitats for tigers, giraffes, elephants and condors.
