Step back in time at the year’s most anticipated event! This year’s GEM Awards ceremony embraces the theme “The Way We Were,” a retro-inspired celebration of Coronado’s architectural heart and soul. We are honored to announce Coronado icons Gerry MacCartee and Nancy Cobb will join us to delight guests with stories of “the way we were,” sharing the history and charm that define our community.
The evening is dedicated to honoring those in our community who have “Gone the Extra Mile” to restore and safeguard historic homes, ensuring our island’s legacy remains for generations to come. The celebration begins at 5:00 p.m. with an exclusive VIP Reception, where you can meet this year’s distinguished nominees and toast their hard work with our signature Orange Avenue Margaritas.
At 5:30 p.m., the festivities open for General Admission, featuring a classic Coronado atmosphere, an open bar, and gourmet fare. We invite you to lean into the retro spirit with your attire, thinking “Coronado Classic” with a nostalgic twist, as we enjoy wonderful entertainment and announce the winners of the 2026 GEM Awards.
