PASS.
A matchup between 2 bad teams usually means it’s anybody’s game. I’m taking the Pelicans due to their home court advantage and momentum coming off a huge win over Minnesota, but the small moneyline payoff still isn’t worth the risk, especially considering how closely the Kings have played their opponents as of late.
BET KINGS +7.5 (-105).
The 7.5 points seem generous for a New Orleans team that is barely any better than the Kings. Sacramento has covered against solid competition in 3 of its last 6 games.
BET OVER 231.5 (-105).
The Kings have hit the Over in each of their last 4 games, as have the Pelicans in 2 of their last 4. With this being their first matchup of the season, I expect more of a high-scoring affair.
