All Hands On Deck – 15 Singles Pitched on Stage to a Crowd of Singles
The Bike Shed Moto Co. in the Arts District is hosting a matchmaking event where friends pitch their single pals to a crowd of potential dates — in just four minutes! Hosted by The Next Fun Thing and Natalie’s Juice, this night of fun and flirty introductions might just help you “Find Your Main Squeeze.” 6:30 p.m. Tickets $27.75

Saturday, February 14
Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Love Notes
Celebrate the “Power of Love” at this free afternoon event dedicated to old-school soul and radio dedications. Enjoy live music, dancing and a dose of nostalgia at one of L.A.’s most romantic parks. 3-7 p.m. Free.
Go Metro: Take B Line to Civic Center/Grand Park Station or J Line to 1st St at Hill St and walk a few minutes to the park.

Retro Romantics: An Academy Film Archive Trailer Show in 35mm
Fall for cinema all over again with this collection of vintage movie trailers exploring the highs and lows of love on the big screen. From dramatic heartbreaks to passionate pursuits, it’s romance in all its cinematic glory. 7:30 p.m. Tickets $5
Go Metro: Take the D Line to Wilshire/Normandie Station and connect to Bus Line 20 to Wilshire/Curson, then it’s a short walk to the museum.

XOXO, The Guerrilla Girls: Valentines for a Feminist Future
Spend your Valentine’s Day creating art with purpose. The Getty Center hosts a hands-on postcard and letter workshop inspired by the Guerrilla Girls — the anonymous feminist art collective known for their bold activism. Explore their exhibition “How to Be a Guerrilla Girl” and make your own valentines for a better future. 12-3 p.m. Free with museum admission (RSVP required)
Go Metro: Take Bus Line 761 to Sepulveda/Getty Center, and it’s a short walk to the Getty Center.
In honor of Valentine’s Day, Metro is releasing a limited-edition Valentine’s TAP card, available now at select stations across Los Angeles County.

TAP Card is available at these stations below:
A Line: Downtown Long Beach, Florence, Little Tokyo/Arts District, South Pasadena, Monrovia and Azusa Downtown
B Line: Union Station, Vermont/Sunset and Universal City/Studio City
C Line: Norwalk, Avalon and Vermont Athens
D Line: Wilshire/Western
E Line: Downtown Santa Monica, Culver City and East LA Civic Center
G Line: Canoga, Balboa and Woodman
J Line: Manchester and Cal State LA
K Line: Douglas, Downtown Inglewood and Leimert Park
Cards will also be sold at all six Metro Customer Centers.
