The new food hall at the OCVibe development in Anaheim is taking shape with an official name and six newly announced bar and lounge concepts.
Now called Katella Commons, the 50,000-square-foot market hall will take up the first two floors of The Weave office building currently under construction.
OCVibe also tapped French Chef Rémi Lauvand last year to help with the culinary development of the venue.
In addition to 21 chef-driven food stalls, the eatery will have Bar Bacchia, a tasting bar influenced by wine caves, the gin and martini-focused Vesper Lounge, Barrel Bar, designed after all-day European cafés, a beer-garden-inspired setting called Rea’s Ranch and two other yet-to-be-named spaces.
The latter two will be a tequila-forward concept and a social lounge with 70s and 80s influences.
“Katella Commons is intended to be the gathering place for Anaheim,” Nick Pacific, the vice president of Katella Commons operations, said in a statement.
The market hall is slated to open in early 2027 as part of the first phase of the $4-billion-plus OCVibe project.
