BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center is set to be closed beginning Feb. 13.

According to the City of Bakersfield, the center is set to be closed for scheduled maintenance Feb. 13 through Feb. 18.

The after school meal program and gym are to be paused during the closure and are expected to resume Feb. 19.

The city warns the possibility of work being postponed and rescheduled due to weather or unforeseen conditions.
