Fresno State celebrates Black History Month with events and exhibits

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — Fresno State is celebrating Black History Month by hosting several events and exhibits throughout the month of February.

Up until Feb. 27, the university is hosting “A Century of Black History Commemorations.”

The art exhibit is presented by the School of Art, Design and Art History.

It features the works of students, alumni, faculty and local artists recognizing the contributions of African-Americans in the United States.

The exhibit is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday in the Dean’s Gallery of the Music Building.
