This weekend, Bad Bunny came to the Bay Area to perform the Super Bowl halftime show (which was the most-watched halftime show in the history of the championship). There were many speculations of where the star musician would stay, but sightings from social media users have concluded he stayed at the Hotel Valencia on Santana Row in San Jose.
Bad Bunny was spotted entering the hotel ahead of his halftime show, as a swarm of fans gathered to catch a glimpse. Eagle-eyed commenters noted the musician appeared to be staying at Hotel Valencia, a luxury hotel located in the charming entertainment district Santana Row. The area is only a short drive from Levi’s Stadium, which makes it a convenient spot for Bad Bunny to stay.
Bad Bunny isn’t the only star that’s been spotted at the San Jose hotel. Lionel Messi, the international soccer star, stayed at the hotel with fellow teammates in May 2025.
The hotel is a luxury boutique hotel known for its Mediterranean style and central location in Santana Row. Hotel Valencia is the only hotel on Santana Row, and it features a fitness center, pool, and many suites. The hotel also offers a seasonal rooftop wine bar with views of the Santa Cruz Mountains, or you can grab a drink in the stylish lounge, Vbar, which has a selection of cocktails, wine, and beer.
San Franciscans reported many celebrity sightings throughout the week leading up to the Super Bowl, as stars gathered for the football championship. The week also featured many major concerts in the Bay Area, including performances by Green Day, Post Malone, Benson Boone, Calvin Harris, and more. Bad Bunny’s halftime show was equally star-studded, featuring Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin, along with Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba dancing along during the show.
