Downtown Chula Vista’s most beloved foodie celebration is back! Taste of Third returns on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 4 pm to 8 pm, inviting guests to stroll Third Avenue and sample the best flavors the neighborhood has to offer. With a special Taste of Third Passport in hand, attendees can explore an eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes, breweries, and eateries – all paired with lively music that brings the city to life.
“Taste of Third is one of our favorite traditions, and we’re excited to welcome the community back for another unforgettable year,” said Dominic Li Mandri, District Manager of the Downtown Chula Vista Association. “This event truly highlights the heart of Downtown Chula Vista and the incredible businesses that make our district so vibrant. Whether you’re visiting a longtime favorite or discovering a new spot for the first time, Taste of Third celebrates the flavors, culture, and connections that make our neighborhood so special.”
Guests will begin their culinary journey by checking in at Memorial Park, where they will receive their Taste of Third Passport. From there, they’re free to explore each participating business at their own pace, enjoying curated “tastes” from a globally inspired lineup of local eateries.
