Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry is hitting the red carpet to discuss his new movie.
Curry held a special early screening for his first animated feature film GOAT on Tuesday night in Oakland’s Grand Lake Theater.
“It’s surreal because basketball has opened a lot of doors for me,” Curry said.
The movie produced by Curry is an inspiring film about an undersized goat named Will who gets a once-in-a-lifetime shot to join the pros.
It took several years to complete the film, with Curry and his production team paying attention to every detail.
“I came in with open eyes and ears, and kind of submitted to the process,” Curry said. “Voice acting is fun, but challenging.”
Oakland native W Kamau Bell also attended the screening and appreciate Curry for selecting the Grand Lake Theatre for the preview.
