SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, which also means that it’s almost time to grab your girls and celebrate Galentine’s Day.

Luckily, San Diego has plenty of events honoring female friendship during the month of romance.

Cupid’s Skate Party at Petco Park

Petco Park is hosting the first-ever Cupid’s Skate Party at Gallagher Square from Feb. 12-15. On Friday night, there will be a Galentine’s Theme Night from 8 to 10 p.m., where you can grab your besties and skate around the outdoor rink.

In addition to roller skating, there will be shops selling chocolates and candles, a floral bouquet-making station, local artists, food and drinks and a permanent jewelry stand. There will be a live DJ spinning the best tunes.

Tickets are $12 and guarantee entry anytime between 2 and 10 p.m.

Galentine’s Day Gondola Ride

If you’re looking for a unique experience for Galentine’s Day, why not take a gondola cruise around Coronado? The 50-minute ride takes you and your friends through the canals and waterways of the Coronado Cays.

Each gondola can fit up to six people and starts at $260. Gondolas set sail on Feb. 13 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bottomless Cocktails at Lionfish

If grabbing a few drinks and gabbing with your girls is your thing, then Lionfish in downtown has the perfect “Sex and the City” themed event for you.

The restaurant is hosting a bottomless espresso martinis and cosmopolitans experience on Feb. 13 from 5 to 9 p.m., which it described on its website as a “glamorous night out with your girls.”

The event is $29 per person; reservations can be made in advance on OpenTable.

Galentine’s Party at Punchbowl Social

Calling all besties! Punchbowl Social is hosting a Galentine’s Day party featuring a live DJ, pop-up vendors, DIY crafts and fun cocktails.

The party starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $15.

Girlypop Galentines at Original 40

Mingle SD, a local social group, is hosting a Girlypop Galentine’s Party at Original 40 Brewing Company on Feb. 12.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and features fun activities such as flash tattoos, raffles, tarot readings and hair tinsel. You can register for the event here.

Galentine’s Tea at The Westgate Hotel

If you’re looking for a more elevated experience, The Westgate Hotel is hosting a Galentine’s Tea on Feb. 18.

You and your pals can dress up in your finest dresses while sipping floral teas, enjoying finger sandwiches and listening to a live harp player.

The event is $55 for adults and $35 for children. It takes place in the Grand Lobby from 1 to 5 p.m. Reservations can be made online.

Galentine’s Paint & Sip

On Feb. 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the Rumorosa at the Sheraton San Diego Resort is hosting a Galentine’s Paint & Sip event.

For $50, you’ll get a guided painting experience from an instructor, plus two glasses of wine and small bites. The event website says that prior painting experience is not needed.

At the end of the night, you’ll be able to take home your new one-of-a-kind painting with you!
