The National Weather Service reported wind gusts up to 60 mph, raising concerns about dangerous driving conditions and the risk of valley fever. Health officials recommend limiting outdoor activities and wearing N95 masks during dusty conditions.

Chief Meteorologist Ilya Neyman described the current weather as “kind of like a modest storm system,” with light showers expected this week. However, Neyman warned of a “substantial storm pattern” next week with potential high impacts across the West Coast.
