Man found shot to death in Oakland neighborhood

Detectives are trying to find out who shot a man in the head, killing him Wednesday morning in the Oakland neighborhood on the South Side.

The unidentified man was found around 4:45 a.m. with a gunshot wound to his head in the 3700 block of South Lake Park Avenue, Chicago police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Area 1 detectives were investigating.
