LONG BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 11, 2026) – A motorcycle rider died Tuesday morning after a crash involving another vehicle at Anaheim Street and Linden Avenue in Long Beach, authorities said.
Police were called shortly after 6 a.m. on Feb. 10th to the intersection, where they found an adult man who had been riding a motorcycle critically injured. Officers and the driver of the other vehicle immediately began providing aid until Long Beach Fire Department paramedics arrived.
The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital, but despite lifesaving efforts, he later died from his injuries.
Vehicle Makes Left Turn into Path of Motorcyclist
Investigators said the rider was traveling eastbound on Anaheim Street when a car turning left onto southbound Linden Avenue entered the intersection. The motorcycle struck the vehicle, causing the rider to be thrown from the bike.
The driver of the car remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. No arrests were announced.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or has information to contact the Long Beach Police Department’s Collision Investigation Detail. Tips may also be submitted anonymously through LA Crime Stoppers.
