The Ramona H.E.A.R.T Mural Project is holding the annual walking tour of its murals on Saturday, Feb. 14.

The walk is part of the Live Well San Diego “Love Your Heart” event in February. Blood pressure monitoring will be done from 9 to 10 a.m. on the patio of Ramona Family Naturals, 325 Sixth St.

The guided walking tour of H.E.A.R.T murals along along Old Town Ramona Main Street will be led by Elaine Lyttleton, president of the mural project, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Members of the Soroptimist International of Ramona will be handing out free water to walkers along the route.

Participants can print maps of the mural locations from the H.E.A.R.T. Mural website at ramonamurals.com or pick one up at the H.E.A.R.T. Mural table at Ramona Family Naturals on the morning of the event. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome.

Each mural has hidden “hearts” for viewers to locate. The acronym H.E.A.R.T. not only indicates Ramona as the geographic center of San Diego County but reflects the character of the community: “H” for Historic and Hiking, “E” for Equine, “A” for Arts, Antiques and Agriculture, “R” for scenic rural vistas and drives, and “T” for Tasting of fine wines, organizers said.

Participants can enter an opportunity drawing to win a ticket to the 14th annual Ramona Art, Wine & Music Festival. The winner’s name will be drawn at 11:30 a.m.. at the registration site and does not need to be present to win.

Participants who begin their walk at Ramona Family Naturals are asked to park on the street while they are walking, to allow parking spaces for customers of the market.
