A 47-year-old Sacramento resident, Leonid Terzi, was arrested on multiple felony charges related to the theft.
Investigators reported that the stolen hives, which are “valued in the high tens of thousands of dollars,” were recovered and returned to the owner.
Anyone with information regarding this theft or the discovery of related apiary equipment in Yolo County is encouraged to contact law enforcement.
This is an ongoing investigation.
