A new permit filed by Disneyland suggests a cast member office building may be set for demolition.
Team Disney Anaheim East Office Building to be Demolished

X user @ThemeParkIQ has caught a new permit filed by Disneyland Resort which suggests plans to demolish an existing cast member building.
A small office building for Team Disney Anaheim – the administrative and operations arm of Disneyland Resort – currently sits along the southern edge of the Manchester cast parking lot at Disneyland Resort. This particular building is referred to as offices for Team Disney Anaheim East, a satellite to the main Team Disney Anaheim office which sits just north of Disneyland Park.
You can see the location of the Team Disney Anaheim East building in the screenshot below. The larger, main Team Disney Anaheim office sits on the northern border of Disneyland, just barely beyond Mickey’s Toontown and immediately adjacent to Interstate 5.
According to a recent permit filed by Disneyland, as reported by @ThemeParkIQ, this building is set to be demolished, presumably as part of developments for the DisneylandForward project.

According to a recent permit filed by Disneyland, as reported by @ThemeParkIQ, this building is set to be demolished – presumably as part of developments for the DisneylandForward project.
The permit entry reads:
DLR – S Manchester Building – Demolition: 70,732 sq ft office building with utilities to be capped and foundation to remain.
Our last update on the project covered a permit for the construction of the new parking garage to replace this area occupied by the Manchester cast parking lot and the Team Disney Anaheim building.
The newest permit suggests that utilities for the existing office building will remain following demolition, which aligns with the previous construction permit that mentions limited “mechanical, electrical, and plumbing” services coming to the new garage.
Given the connection, it’s possible that the area currently occupied by the office building, when translated to the new construction for the garage, will mark the pedestrian walkway entry/exit point for guests into the garage (where plumbing and other services may be available for guest accommodations).
Construction on the 6,000-space parking garage is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2026. The new parking garage is coming in time for other Disneyland Resort expansions, including the new Avatar area and two more Avengers Campus rides.
DisneylandForward is the ambitious expansion plan for Disneyland Resort, unanimously approved on May 7, 2024, by the Anaheim City Council.
Updates at the resort on the California Adventure side started quickly, with construction on the Avengers Campus expansion to add two new attractions, Avengers: Infinity Defense and Stark Flight Lab.
Construction at California Adventure is also expected to start soon on the first-ever Coco attraction, envisioned in the concept art as a boat ride through the vibrant Land of the Dead.
Additional Disneyland Resort expansion projects include the addition of an Avatar land replacing Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue.
Other public records show that the city of Anaheim is considering a Skyliner-esque aerial gondola system with a stop at Disneyland Resort.
