A 19-year-old man was charged Wednesday with fatally stabbing a transient in Anaheim.
Hieu Quan Nguyen was charged with murder with a sentencing enhancement for the personal use of a deadly weapon.
Nguyen was accused of fatally stabbing 60-year-old Dennis Edward Welsch Jr. in an alley just before 11:45 p.m. Sunday.
Nguyen did not enter a plea at his arraignment Wednesday. The hearing was rescheduled for Friday in the Central Jail courtroom in Santa Ana.
