You Can’t Buy Love, but You Can Adopt It at an Orange County Animal Shelter

Six Local Shelters Team Up to Help Homeless Pets

This Valentine’s Day weekend, six Orange County animal shelters are working together to encourage the public to adopt. Whether you are seeking a walking buddy, a couch companion, or a best friend, your match is waiting at your local animal shelter.

Shelters across Orange County care for thousands of animals every year, each with a unique story and plenty of love to give. With a united voice, shelters are educating the community that adoption not only changes an animal’s life, it also adds something meaningful to their own.

The public is encouraged to visit local Orange County shelters throughout Valentine’s Day weekend to meet dogs, cats, and other pets ready for their forever homes. In addition to adoption, there are many ways to support homeless pets this season, including signing up to volunteer, becoming a pet foster, or donating to pets in need.
