Kern County drivers continue to pay more at the pump

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Gas prices in California continue to be well above the national average.

It’s a trend also being seen in Kern County, despite efforts to boost local oil production.

High state taxes and recent refinery closures are both impacting what drivers pay at the pump.
