Cal State Fullerton’s annual commencement will honor the achievements of the Class of 2026, with thousands of Titans graduating and more than 100,000 guests expected to join in the festivities. This year’s celebration will feature several exciting updates to create a safe and welcoming experience for graduates and their guests:
Enhanced comfort: A shade structure will be installed on the intramural field, keeping the space up to 15 degrees cooler than the surrounding outdoor areas.
New indoor viewing option: For guests who prefer to stay out of the heat, an air-conditioned venue with large screens for livestreaming will be available in the Titan Student Union Portola Pavilion. Tickets are required, and standard security measures apply.
Graduate safety measures: Graduates will put on their gowns after passing through security to help maintain a safe environment and prevent prohibited items from entering commencement venues.
Guest safety measures: Walk-through security systems will be in place at all venues. Guests can bring clear bags no larger than 12 inches by 12 inches, which are available for purchase at Titan Shops.
Streamlined ceremonies: To improve the viewing experience, four additional ceremonies have been added to this year’s schedule for a total of 16 ceremonies. Each 90-minute event will feature fewer graduates while maintaining the same number of guest tickets (8) as in previous years.
