CLOVIS, Calif. (KFSN) — Clovis Police have released surveillance video of Wednesday night’s smash-and-grab robbery at Kay Jewelers.
It happened just before 6:30 p.m. at the Herndon and Sunnyside avenues location.
Officers say four masked suspects entered the store, began using a sledgehammer to smash glass cases and stole an unknown amount of jewelry.
The video shows two of the suspects smashing the glass cases while the other two suspects grabbed the jewelry within a matter of two minutes.

The suspects then ran out and left in a silver car.
Officers later located the abandoned stolen getaway car in a neighborhood nearby, and say it is being processed for evidence.
Detectives are reviewing the store’s surveillance footage, as well as Clovis Police cameras that are in the shopping center’s parking lot.
Investigators are also looking into the possibility of this robbery being connected to similar crimes across California.
Kay Jewelers was open, and employees were inside during the robbery, but no one was hurt.
