While the Rancho Santa Fe Attack and Cardiff Soccer leagues’ competitive programs merged to become the new San Diego Sockers, both clubs are keeping their individual recreational programs. The Rancho Santa Fe Attack Recreational program will continue to provide a community-based program for all those in the Rancho Santa Fe area, according to Director of League Operations Marilee Pacelli.

The recreational program kicks off in the fall with camps throughout the summer, and, coming up at the end of this month, the league will host its “Soccer in the Ranch” program for rec players. Soccer in the Ranch is six weeks of soccer sessions for players ages 4-14, to get kids moving and learning the game from professional Attack coaches. Running six Sundays from Feb. 22 through March 29 at the Nativity Church field, each one-hour session includes a skills-focused warm-up before 40 minutes of mini scrimmages.
