GET to run holiday schedule for Presidents Day; several routes suspended Feb. 16

Golden Empire Transit District (GET) riders in Bakersfield will see changes to bus and paratransit service on Presidents’ Day. GET said Routes 47, 81, 82, 83 and 84 will NOT operate on Monday, Feb. 16, 2026.

GET said its fixed-route buses and GET-A-LIFT paratransit services will operate on a holiday schedule on Feb. 16, in honor of Presidents Day.
