The Valencia warehouse where an aerospace company leased 80K SF.

Westcore locked in an 80K SF aerospace tenant at an industrial property in Valencia. 

ASC Process Systems leased the space at 28144 Witherspoon Parkway in the Valencia Commerce Center. ASC manufactures processing equipment for the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors. The lease is part of ASC’s operational expansion, according to a release from Colliers. 

This will be ASC’s fourth facility in the Santa Clarita Valley, bringing its total manufacturing space in the area to more than 300K SF. All of that square footage is also within the Valencia Commerce Center. 

Colliers’ Matt Dierckman, David Harding, Greg Geraci, Billy Walk and Kevin Carroll represented both the landlord and tenant in the transaction.

SRS Real Estate Partners hired Travis Carson as a principal. Carson will help lead strategy development and business operations, as well as support talent acquisition. 

Carson brings more than 20 years of experience as a consultant. His background spans leadership development and performance coaching with companies including CBRE, Colliers International, Lee & Associates, JLL and Coldwell Banker Commercial.

Drawbridge Realty promoted Mike Embree to chief portfolio officer, a position in which he will continue to oversee Drawbridge’s more than $2B portfolio, spanning more than 7M SF. 

Embree has been with Drawbridge for 24 years. In just the last four years, Embree oversaw the execution of nearly 3M SF of new leasing across the firm’s national portfolio with tenants such as Anduril Industries, Discover, Myriad Genetics, Northrop Grumman and Uber.

Cushman & Wakefield rehired Kevin Donner as vice chair in its Los Angeles office.

Donner rejoins Cushman & Wakefield from Newmark and will focus on institutional capital markets, including office, multifamily and retail assets. Donner will also work on capital raising and joint venture formation.

Bolour Associates Inc. hired Jason Huang as associate director for debt originations. Huang will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating new loan opportunities across Bolour’s lending platform, as well as serving as the primary point of coordination between brokers, borrowers and internal teams. Huang previously served as vice president of underwriting at Onyx Funding.

Stockdale Capital Partners has hired Richie Dinets as managing director and general counsel. He will lead all legal, regulatory and compliance functions. Dinets will also serve as a member of the firm’s management committee. 

Dinets has more than 15 years of institutional private equity real estate experience, including seven years at Tishman Speyer, where he most recently served as managing director and general counsel for the western United States.

At Stockdale, Dinets will oversee legal strategy across all investment vehicles, manage outside counsel relationships, and ensure governance and compliance.

Ganmi Corp.’s Golden Columbia platform announced the acquisition of One Columbia Place, a 27-story, 557K SF Class-A office tower at 401 W. A St., and Two Columbia Place, a 12-story, 151K SF Class-A office building at 1230 Columbia St., in San Diego.

The sale price was $103.5M. The seller wasn’t named in the release, but Commercial Observer reported it was Regent Properties. 

JLL’s Tony Russell, Richard Gonor, Pascal Aubry-Dumand and Ryan Taquino have been appointed exclusive leasing agents for both properties. CBRE will serve as the property manager.

CBRE arranged the $26.5M sale of La Roca Plaza, a 100-unit multifamily property at 10032 N. Magnolia Ave. in Santee, about 20 miles from downtown San Diego.

Casa La Roca Apartments LLC acquired the property. CBRE’s Conor Brennan and Rachel Parsons represented the buyer and the seller, La Roca Plaza LP.

La Roca Plaza offers a mix of one-to-three‑bedroom units. Community amenities include a pool, playground, central courtyard, on-site laundry, high-speed internet access and 154 off‑street parking spaces.

Newmark completed the $24.4M sale of 1901 Newport Blvd., a 134K SF, three-story office property in Costa Mesa.

Newmark’s Paul Jones, Ryan Plummer, Brandon White, Kevin Shannon and Ken White represented the undisclosed seller. The buyer was a private high net worth investor.

JLL Capital Markets arranged the $20.4M sale of Embassy Plaza, a 70K SF neighborhood retail center in North Hollywood. 

JLL worked on behalf of the buyer, an unnamed Los Angeles-based family office. The seller was also undisclosed.

Embassy Plaza, at 6050-6140 Lankershim Blvd., is anchored by Superior Grocers. The grocery-anchored retail center also features tenants including Starbucks, T-Mobile and Little Caesars. The property is 67% occupied.

A Brookfield-backed fund sold a 6-acre parcel at 500 W. Collins Ave. in Orange to Bedrock Machinery.

CBRE’s Keith Greer, Ben Seybold and Sean Ward represented the seller. CBRE’s Jeff Carr represented the buyer. 

The site features a 17K SF, two‑story office building and a 32K SF industrial warehouse with three 10‑ton cranes. Bedrock Machinery is relocating its operations to the site.
