AND1, the basketball apparel brand, is giving back to the Compton community just in time for All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.
Today, February 13, 2026, AND1 is hosting a Paint the Park community event where they will unveil a fully renovated basketball court in South Park, as well as a custom mural by Mike Norice.
The event will also include sneaker giveaways, food trucks, a DJ set by DJ Trauma, and “a celebration with legendary AND1 Mixtape Tour athletes,” according to a press release. “AND1 reinvests in the community where streetball culture was born, honoring 33 years of basketball and culture at the grassroots level.”
Emma Sharif, the Mayor of Compton, will be in attendance alongside notable stars like NBA veteran Lance Stephenson Jr., The Professor, Hot Sauce, AO, Shane the Dribbler, Pharmacist, Leaky Roof, White Iverson, Junebug, Hip-Hop Harry, and Amir Smith.
The event is free to the public, and is happening today, between 1 and 4 pm.
