The mother of a 3-year-old boy who died after suffering blunt-force trauma injuries at a Sacramento home has been arrested on homicide-related charges, police said. Police said officers went to Douglas Street and Los Robles Boulevard just after 12:30 p.m. for a medical aid call on Thursday. On Friday, the Sacramento County coroner identified the child as Jeremiah Cash Carter, of Sacramento.Hours later, Sacramento police said the victim’s mother, 31-year-old Brianna Butcher, was arrested after being interviewed by investigators.
