Demonstrators in downtown LA show support protesters in Iran – NBC Los Angeles

Law enforcement in downtown Los Angeles is warning the public of major traffic delays in downtown as a demonstration in favor of the Iranian people is underway.

Hundreds of people descended upon downtown Los Angeles on Saturday as part of a permitted march to express support for protesters in Iran. As a result, the Los Angeles Police Department said the following streets may experience major delays:

Figueroa Street between 2nd Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue

Flower Street between 2nd Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue

Olive between 2nd Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue

Grand Avenue between 2nd Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue

Broadway between 2nd Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue

Spring Street between 2nd Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue

Main Street between 2nd Street and Aliso.
