A man was arrested Friday, accused of robbing a USPS worker in Fresno in January.
Deputies assigned to the Multi-Agency Gang Enforcement Consortium and the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force arrested 38-year-old Frankie Ochoa.
The robbery happened around 11:12 a.m. Jan. 15 when a USPS worker was accosted at gunpoint.
The robbery took place on Hammond Avenue near Fruit Avenue. The worker reported being robbed of their vehicle keys, wallet and phone. The USPS worker was making deliveries in a USPS mail truck, police said.
The victim was not injured, Fresno police said.
The suspect ran off toward Fruit Avenue and wasn’t found until Friday.
Ochoa is facing federal charges.
