One person was transported to a hospital around 7 p.m. Saturday after a stabbing near the Escondido Transit Center in the 700 block of West Valley Parkway, according to the Escondido Police Department.
The victim was transported to the hospital with a single puncture wound, and their injuries are not considered life threatening, authorities told NBC 7.
It is unknown what led up to the incident, and if there is a suspect in custody.
