JAHACO is transforming plastic bags and soft plastics into benches, tables, and much more.
Coatesville, Pa — JAHACO is on a mission to give new life to non-recyclable plastic, transforming items like bread and shipping bags into long-lasting benches. “The mission of JAHACO really is to take the non-recyclable plastic and be able to make it into benches like this,” says co-owner, Jeff Burke.
Each bench removes 13,000 plastic bags from landfills and waterways.
Partnering with Eco Plastic Products of Delaware, JAHACO uses specialized equipment to repurpose plastic into durable lumber.
“It makes us feel good that were helping the environment,” adds Jeff, “but were also providing something thatll be lasting for years.”
