LAPD officers involved in crash at end of San Fernando Valley chase – NBC Los Angeles

A pursuit in the San Fernando Valley ended in a crash Saturday night that injured at least one Los Angeles Police Department officer.

The crash in the Reseda area left one officer trapped inside a patrol car, the department said. One patrol car with two officers collided with another one-person patrol car 8300 block of North Wilbur Avenue.

Paramedics were requested for three people. Two men were in critical condition and a third was in fair condition, the LAFD said.

The injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The chase began after a report of a possible DUI driver. That person was taken into custody.
