Fire Truck Storytime

On Tuesday, Feb. 10, the Rancho Santa Fe Fire Protection District visited the Rancho Santa Fe Library for Fire Truck Storytime. Firemen demonstrated their equipment, showed off their truck, and took questions from kids and parents.

“The firemen’s kindness, enthusiasm and service made it a truly special experience for our community,” said Nora Kaiser, Rancho Santa Fe Library’s children’s librarian.

Dean Ratzman Music Concert

American Flag Drop-Off

If it’s time to retire your American Flag, please drop it off at the library. There is a drop box and your flag will be treated with respect.

Battery Drop-Off at Library

The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a safe place to dispose of small batteries, including A, AA, AAA, C, lithium (with taped covered ends), cell phone, and other small batteries. Do your part to stop pollution by bringing this toxic trash to the library. The drop-off program is in partnership with Universal Waste.

Seeds and Sustainability

The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a seed library too! Come by to pick up two free seed varieties that you can take home and plant.

Young readers are invited to practice their reading skills by reading to Liberty, a friendly therapy dog! This relaxed, judgment-free experience helps build confidence and encourages a love of reading.
