That roundabout, M-5/Martin Parkway and N Pontiac Trail in Commerce Township, recorded at least 121 crashes.
The most crashes at a single intersection in the county occurred at the S M-5/Martin Parkway and N Pontiac Trail portion of the roundabout, with 45 crashes in 2024, according to data from the state of Michigan.
In 2023, the most dangerous intersection was the N M-5/Martin Parkway and N Pontiac Trail portion of the roundabout. The intersection recorded 53 crashes that year, with the whole roundabout seeing at least 141 crashes.
The Oakland County intersection with the second-most crashes in 2024 was Dixie Highway and White Lake Road in Independence Township at 43 crashes.
It was followed by Orchard Lake Road and W 14 Mile Road in West Bloomfield Township at 41 crashes.
In all, there were 11,633 intersection crashes in Oakland County in 2024, up 3.51% from 11,238 in 2023.
