BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(Feb. 16, 2026) — A crash involving at least four vehicles happened Friday evening in Bakersfield at Taft Highway (Highway 119) and Airport Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred on Feb. 13th around 6 p.m., and authorities confirmed that at least three people were transported to local hospitals. Officials have not yet released information about the severity of their injuries.

Traffic is currently being diverted from Taft Highway onto Airport Road as crews respond to the scene. It remains unclear whether any lanes or surrounding roadways are fully closed. Motorists are advised to use caution and expect delays in the area.
