Deputies Investigating After Body Found in Proud Lake Recreation Area

Commerce Township, MI – Oakland County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered this morning near Proud Lake in Commerce Township.
Deputies were notified shortly before 9 a.m. today that the body of a man was found near the lake on Wixom Road.
The man was believed to be in his 20s.
The body was discovered by a person who was visiting the park. Further information will be released as the investigation proceeds.
