Officials said that applicants can’t have any open cases, be on probation, under mandatory supervision, or be on parole to be eligible. No juvenile or federal will be considered.

All fines and fees must be paid in full. Valid identification and your case numbers are required to be able to attend. Only charges and cases in Kern County will be evaluated, according to officials.

Applicants will be notified whether they qualify for the next portion of the process. The expungement clinic takes place in April.

California State University, Bakersfield’s Pre-Law Program is also taking part in the clinic. Spots are limited and reservations are required. You can register for an appointment by emailing PLSI@csub.edu.
