North Park nights just got a little more thoughtful. This March, Bivouac Ciderworks is hosting Un/Grounded, the second duo exhibition from multidisciplinary artists JenMarie Landig and Maha Bazzari, and it feels right at home inside the Adventure Lodge.

In honor of Women’s Month, Bivouac is transforming its cozy, community-driven space into a gallery experience that blends photography, painting, and reflection – all alongside a well-poured cider.

Texture, Tension, and Everything in Between

Un/Grounded explores texture as a shifting bridge between stability and suspension, the familiar and the unknown. Through JenMarie’s photography and Maha’s paintings, we are invited into work that feels both rooted and untethered.

Their pieces reflect on the textures in our own lives – the grain of forgiveness, the edges of loss, the smoothness of clarity, the sharpness of rage. It is layered, emotional work that encourages us to slow down and notice what we are carrying, and what we might be ready to release.

There is something powerful about experiencing art like this in a setting that already embraces connection and conversation.

Special Events to Put on the Radar

The public Opening Reception on Friday, March 6, is the perfect way to kick things off. Expect an evening of art, community, and connection inside the Lodge.

Beyond opening night, the programming leans into the reflective tone of the exhibition:

March 8, 6 PM to 8 PM – Mindful Movement and Sound Bath, including complementary tea or cider

March 14, 10 AM to 12 PM – Artist Talk featuring an art commune and coffee

March 24, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM – Painting Workshop

It is the kind of lineup that makes us want to come back more than once.

See you there!

We will be sipping cider, soaking in the art, and celebrating Women’s Month in North Park. Join us at Bivouac and spend some time getting grounded – or un/grounded.
