Downed tree on power lines closes Thurber Lane in Santa Cruz County

California Highway Patrol says a downed tree on power lines has closed a street in Santa Cruz County.
Around 9:24 a.m., CHP said Thurber Lane was shut down between Helen Avenue and Benson Avenue.
The road was expected to reopen within 45 minutes, but CHP has not provided an update on conditions.
