BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department asked for the community’s help in identifying a man suspected of stealing a bicycle on Rosedale Highway.

On Feb. 1, the victim was in the 13000 block of Rosedale Highway when the suspect brandished a knife at the victim and stole his bicycle, according to police.

Investigators described the suspect as a homeless man between 20 and 40 years old. He has blond hair and was wearing a black and gray shirt along with black and gray sweatpants.

The suspect possibly lives in and frequents the riverbed area next to The Park at River Walk, according to officials.
