BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man accused of stealing a bicycle.
Police said on February 1, 2026, the victim was in the 13000 block of Rosedale Highway when the suspect showed a knife at the victim and stole his bicycle.
The suspect is described as a transient man, 20 to 40 years old, with blonde hair, wearing a black and gray shirt, black and gray sweatpants.
The suspect possibly resides and frequents the riverbed area next to Riverwalk Park.
Police provided a photo of the victim’s bicycle.
