• A benefit in La Jolla raises funds for “Dear Alaska,” an upcoming documentary feature film about the Indigenous Tlingit people of the Pacific Northwest, from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Suraj Israni Center for Cinematic Arts at UC San Diego’s Sixth College, 9655 Scholars Drive North.
